MITS Events

Welcome to the MITS event site. Our goal is to provide our constituents with quality professional learning opportunities in a variety of contexts and formats.

If a minimum number of participants do not register for a MITS professional development session, the event will be cancelled or postponed. Participants who are registered for that event will be notified prior to the event date.

Beginner and Up - This session will focus on the use of Google Forms and Presentations for collaborative teaching and learning. 

Google Docs includes more than just the word processing feature. It also includes Forms and Presentations. These two features are essential tools for a classroom teacher. In the hands of the students they allow them to easily collect and organize data, collaborate with peers for projects and presentations, and easily publish to the web. In addition, both of these features allow you to embed the forms or presentation in other web spaces. Come and learn about this amazing free collaborative tool!

Requirement: Bring your laptop to this session

Max number of participants: 25
We have a small block of rooms held at the Days Inn, Grayling for those who may want to stay overnight on August 3rd. Your cost is $53.00 plus tax. However, if you bring a tax exempt form then the taxes will be waived. Please mention "MITS Block" when requesting your room.
