Minimum number of participants is 20.
Whether you already have an iPad in your classroom or you are just thinking about possibilities, this session can help you become better acquainted with the device. This session will focus on the following:
- iPad Overview: iPad Background, basics (Spotlight, Folders, Multitasking, Keyboard, etc.), Accessibility Features, and VoiceOver
- Hands-on exploration of reading, writing, AAC, visual support, math and science related apps with emphasis on supporting students with special needs in accessing the curriculum
- Collaboration with other educators to come up with ideas and strategies for real-world implementation
Lunch will be provided.
